Common questions
What is ShootFlow?
An iPhone and iPad app for photographers and anyone else who shoots: plan a shoot, time the light, shoot with a pro camera and keep the work moving. It's in testing now.
Is ShootFlow free?
Yes. ShootFlow is free to use, with allowances on how much you make, such as a monthly allowance of new plans. Pro is for working photographers: it lifts the limits and adds more of the camera. Test builds have Pro switched on, so you can try all of it.
How do I hear when ShootFlow launches?
Join the mailing list. We'll email you when ShootFlow is on the App Store, and with news before then.
What do I need?
An iPhone or iPad on iOS 26 or later. Test builds also need Apple's free TestFlight app.
I got an invite. How do I install it?
The invite comes from TestFlight (Apple), not from us, so check your junk folder if you can't find it.
- Install TestFlight from the App Store on the iPhone or iPad you'll test on.
- Open the invite email on that device.
- Tap View in TestFlight.
- Tap Accept, then Install.
My test build stopped working
Each test build runs for up to 90 days, then it stops opening. Open TestFlight and install the newest ShootFlow build. If TestFlight doesn't show a newer one, email support@shoot-flow.com.
How do I send feedback?
Any of these works:
- Take a screenshot in ShootFlow, tap the thumbnail, then tap Share Beta Feedback.
- Open TestFlight, choose ShootFlow and tap Send Beta Feedback.
- Email support@shoot-flow.com.
How do I leave the list or delete my details?
Email privacy@shoot-flow.com with the subject "Remove me". We'll remove your details within 5 business days.
Does the app collect my data?
Only what it needs to run your account. Your account and what you make in the app are stored with Supabase in Australia (Sydney, ap-southeast-2), so they follow you to another iPhone. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Photos you never share, the theme and the camera's settings stay on your device.
A few features use Apple services, and test builds load sample pictures from the web. The privacy policy explains each one.
How do I delete my data from the app?
In the app, go to You > Settings > Email and password > Delete account. That permanently deletes your account from the server with everything stored with it, including the photos you shared, clears the app's copies on this device and signs you out. Frames you saved to your photo library stay there.
